Pasture Raised Pork

Villa of pigs are raised in a rotational pasture from birth to finish, WITHOUT growth hormones. In the spring their diet consist mainly of fresh grass with their additional locally sourced ration of grain to reach their protein needs. We use electric wire to rotate them every 7-10 days, allowing the pasture to rest and providing constant access to fresh grass.

In summer time heat, the pigs enjoy wallowing in their mud holes or grazing for nuts in the shaded woods. Fall and winter when the grass growth has slowed down, in addition to their ration of grain they also enjoy unlimited hay.

The goal is to provide our pigs with a good life, which includes belly rubs and treats. On our farm they get to live out on pasture and enjoy nature.
